Yellow corn is a typical sweet corn, and a significant resource of Vitamin A, wherein its ears are wrapped in tightly bound lime hued husks with silks, and a tassel that extend out from the tip. A single ear of corn contains up to 400 kernels, when the yellow kernels are packed in tight uniform rows. As the kernels mature, they lose their milky consistency giving way to a starchy and doughy consistency, and are best suited for feedstock.
